DOUBT and BELIEF: Partners or Foes?

Faith is trusting that the floating bridges that span Lake Washington will keep floating.  Belief is having enough faith to drive across them.  Doubt is the absence of that faith, resulting in unbelief.

Can you have doubts about God although you basically believe that He's just, loving, all-knowing, everywhere and all-powerful?

Where's a safe place to examine those doubts?  Why not lug them right to God?  If he's really God, He can handle them.  You can do this, with no intimidation, at His Deal.

Remember the dad in the New Testament who pleads, "I believe, but can I get a little help with my unbeliefs?"

You know what I'm sayin'?
