Run For It

You may feellike life is a mad dash.  Some say it’sthe dash chiseled in granite between our year of birth and year of death.  But life is more like a marathon with itsdemand for endurance.

Staying thecourse on the job, at home, fulfilling responsibilities, nurturingrelationships.  Whether you’re a frontrunner or back in the pack, people are watching you.  Some are cheering.  A few may even hope you lose, drop out, orworse.

One of theBible’s contributing writers encourages you to jettison every weight that wouldhinder you.  The ultimate prize, available to all, is to be forever with the God who made you and loves youdearly.

So run, remembering that when you cross this life’s finish line, we’ve only just begun.
